OG Japan Co. runs "Koubou Take," a paulownia box manufacturing business founded in 1954.

The company has long manufactured and sold various products using the superior properties of paulownia wood, such as its airtightness and humidity control functions.

These include Awa Odori bamboo doll cases, a specialty of Tokushima Prefecture, as well as drawers for dressing tables and Buddhist altars, and paulownia boxes for storing Otani-yaki pottery.
